Sarnan
Firbolg Ranger
Sarnan is the Firbolg groundskeeper of The Stormveil Mystic Academy who looks after all the magical creatures and teaches the study of magical beasts and animal handling for those who have excelled enough in study of magical beasts to be deemed knowledgeable enough to be safe around potentially dangerous creatures such as griffins or even dragons. His office is on the ground floor of the castle, though he rarely uses it, and is full of books on magic beasts with a roaring fireplace against one wall with a pot of stew bubbling on the fire. He spends most of his time out in the courtyard and gardens tending to the many different mythical beasts which live within the castle grounds, all of which he has individually named.

Sarnan has worked for Wilavor Covenshine for 92 years and loved every second of it. He was first offered the job when he managed to calm and tame a wild Peryton that had sprung out from the dark and pinned Wilavor to an old oak whilst he was conducting field research in the woods of Tanner's Folly. Said Peryton has been immortalised as a statue in the centre of the school courtyard.
