Stormveil Mystic Academy
School for Wizards, Sorcerers and other magic users
Purpose / Function
The Stormveil Mystic Academy serves as a school for Wizards, Sorcerers, Druids and Bards from all walks of life, of all ages and of varying magical ability, however a basic understanding of arcana is required to attend. Whilst studying at the Stormveil Mystic Academy, pupils can expect to be attending lectures and lessons in all their chosen forms of magic across the castle grounds and occasionally in the field, especially lessons in the study of magical creatures and druidic schools of magic as they are far easier to attune to when among nature. The school library is vast, containing many ancient texts documenting all things magical from fantastical beasts to ancient practices of witchcraft.

- Professor Remonus Blackflame, Head of sorcery and leader of the duelling club.

- Professor Zandir Rubblecrack, Head of potions and alchemy.
- Professor Eclipse of the Moon, Head of the bardic arts.
- Professor Sarnan, Groundskeeper and Head of the study and care of magical creatures.
- Professor Everina Nebulous, Librarian and Wizardry teacher.
Architecture
The Stormveil Mystic Academy is a repurposed castle from before the Split of Olkvast. It is believed that the castle was once a military strong hold built to fend off orcs when they first reared their ugly heads in Winval, now it's many halls and open rooms have been repurposed into classrooms and dormitories for students of the academy. Due to the expanses of the castle, a teleportation system of keystones has been established round the grounds allowing students and staff alike to quickly move from one department to another.
History
The Academy was founded by Wilavor Covenshine in the year 1104ASO when he acquired the ruins of a castle, built by an ancient and long dead civilisation and began renovating it into the mighty school that stands there today. The dungeons were cleared out and converted into both potions classrooms and the sorcerer's arena which is used both for lessons in sorcery and for the dueling club, both lead by professor Remonus Blackflame, current head of Sorcery. What was once a large throne room is now a stage decorated with a full orchestra of instruments where professor Eclipse of the Moon teaches many of her lessons in the bardic arts.
