Varos Alikax
Dragonborn Wizard
Varos Alikax is a Dragonborn wizard and deputy head at The Stormveil Mystic Academy. He is a cobalt blue dragonborn from Laerakond originally who flew to Winval a few decades ago in pursuit of furthering his magical knowledge. His office resides at the top of the highest tower in the castle grounds with a large balcony that allows him to over look the site and take off with his large wings at any time. His main role within the school is to manage the magical artefacts and items of interest that are studied and used in classes around the castle grounds. He also keeps track of what classes each students take in his records and is in charge of hiring and firing among the staff. Occasionally he will teach wizarding lessons but for the most part he teaches arcana and the study of magical artefacts as he is a very scholarly man.

Personal history
Varos grew up in the city of Blagstead with a wealthy family of Dragonborn scholars, and he was no exception to this trend. From the day he could read, Varos was fascinated by the ancient texts on magic owned by his parents and would spend hours a day just studying every detail and learning them off by heart. As he grew older he read about the continent of Winval, where magic was the most pertinent and strong, infused in all life. And so when he came of age and had fully developed his wings he packed his things and set of south in search of Winval.
When he arrived on the northern coast, the first thing he did was to take out a notebook and begin documenting the traces of magic he could see around him, in both the creatures and the fauna. Soon, as he travelled further in land, he learnt of The Stormveil Mystic Academy and was determined to learn more. Arriving at the castle he met with Wilavor Covenshine to discuss enrolment, But it soon became clear he already far exceeded the magic covered in the wizard's course. But Wilavor was charmed by his dedication and child-like wonder when experiencing magic, and so offered him the position of deputy head believing he would thrive in the school environment and that his research would be very valuable for the school library.
Employment
Varos is deputy head and treasurer for The Stormveil Mystic Academy. Though he has not been there as long as many of the other staff members, Wilavor took a strong interest in him when they first met and he immediately offered him the position of deputy head as he was completely taken in by Varos' fascination with the magical and arcane.
