Zandir Rubblecrack
Half - Orc Alchemist
Zandir is a half - Orc alchemist and head of potions and alchemy at The Stormveil Mystic Academy. He is easily recognisable around school grounds by his large black and yellow hooded cloak which he wears constantly, seemingly only taking the hood down during some of his lessons and when in his own private quarters in the lower levels of the castle. Though never confirmed by Zandir himself, many believe this may be due to shame and embarrassment about his race, and the savage brutal stereotypes that surround them. The mystic academy is often seen as a safe haven for people of all backgrounds and races and Zandir is certainly no exception to this.
His office is located in the deepest parts of the dungeon, below the sorcery classrooms so that the weather or sun light won't affect any of the volatile components, and the stone walls act as a natural insulator for ingredients that have to be kept chilled. Because of this, his office is incredibly chilly. Shelves covered in glass jars and bottles of all different ingredients and liquids adorn all of his walls almost floor to ceiling with just a small cupboard of recipe books.

Zandir has been the school alchemy and potions teacher for a few years now, having taken the position in 2901 ASO. Before that he worked as a chemist in Matlock brewing cures and health potions for adventurers passing through the icy town.
