Lakamhaam Town Hall
The largest building in Lakamhaa is the Town Hall. Its architecture is much like the temples of their Earthern Maya ancestors. There are a number of rooms built within the temple's structure, including the King's office, the main hall, and other administration offices.
Fauna & Flora
As the top of the temple (just in the middle section where the main hall is located) is open, some of the natural flora of the world have been grown from within and escape out of the top. The largest of these is a large Aurum Daylily of the Keppsat variety. It sits in a corner of the hall, giving light to the rest of the hall. This main flower leads to the other Keppsat's in every other room, also used as the main lighting.
History
Town Hall was one of the first buildings to be built whenthe Lakamhaans first came to Realm-R. It was built on the south side of the main plaza area of Lakamha. Afterwards, all of the other houses and town buildings were built around the rectangular plaza. After the hall was built, the King's housing was built behind it (further south of Town Hall) with a short hallway that connects the two buildings.
Tourism
Although most feasts and event occur within the plaza, when there are special dances to show, they generally occur within the main hall of Town Hall. They are particularly prevalent at night, when the moon shines through the roof and the Daylillies light shine brightly through the night.
When a Traveller arrives in Lakamha, from the Lakamhaan portal, they arrive at Town Hall, and go up its main steps into the large entranceway that leads into the main hall. Cody ran this way, but as he was so startled by the thought of monsters appearing, he didn't really take in the grandeur of the temple until after ha had spoken to King Tain.
