Mliynar Warehouses
Mark Mliynar, a wealthy and enterprising merchant lord, has established a substantial base of operations in Tsarigrad. His large storage complex near the city's industrial zone houses a diverse array of goods, primarily agricultural products imported from the kingdom of Ardechia. These include crates of grains, fruits, and vegetables, as well as livestock products such as wool and other textiles like silk. Additionally, Mark deals in various types of furniture, including carpets, curtains, wooden pieces, and even baskets.
The entire warehouse complex, along with the land it occupies, is owned outright by Mark Mliynar. This independence allows him to operate without the constraints of leasing. The complex is efficiently divided into four large storage areas, each dedicated to a specific type of goods. The first warehouse stores food items like grains, fruits, and vegetables. The second holds textiles and raw materials such as wool and pelts. The third is reserved for furniture, while the smallest warehouse is used primarily for baskets. These units are arranged in a neat row, with no gaps between them. A series of interconnected doors at the back of each warehouse allows for easy access from one unit to another without the need to exit and re-enter through the front doors.
Rumors swirl around the warehouse complex, suggesting a clandestine operation takes place there. On certain nights, possibly once a month, the last cargo carriage to arrive at the warehouses seems to bring in more people than it takes out. It is whispered that Mark Mliynar is secretly smuggling mages fleeing Ardechia’s crusade against magic users. Although not technically illegal, as these individuals are not being transported as Human resources, the discovery of this operation could lead to severe repercussions. Should Ardechia learn of Mark’s activities, they could impose sanctions on his business and confiscate his assets within their borders, dealing a crippling blow to his commercial empire.
With such risks involved, Mark makes sure that his storage complex is adequately guarded at all times.
