King Aventus I was the King of the Merfolk kingdom of Atlantica. He was the firstborn child of Queen Aquata and Prince Roan of Atlantica.
He took Princess Oona of Merroway Cove as his wife and queen. Together they had four children of notable royalty, King Cyraeneus of Atlantica, Queen Amphitrite of the Southern Isles, Prince Mako of Ahtohallan, and Prince Barracudon of Shisle.
