King Francis once ruled the Kingdom of Verrelia. The throne succeeded to his brother King George. The throne should have gone to his son, Prince Adam, after he became old enough, but the Beast curse left most thinking he too had died.
King Francis and his wife Queen Venora died young from the Winter plague.
