Sevault Canyon

Sevault Canyon is an area on Quest Island in the Sevii Islands which includes the Tanoby Key and leads south to the Tanoby Ruins. It is a particularly long route and there are many high-level Trainers who regularly hike here. It is also notably one of few habitats of wild Larvitar in the Pokémon World. As a narrow valley, wedged between the sea, Sevault Canyon has a mix of grassy patches and rugged, arid land. The canyon seems to serve as a training ground for elite Trainers, while being guarded by equally skilled Pokémon Rangers. At the southern end of the canyon, there is a small house, in which a man will heal travelers' Pokémon if they do a dance with his Chansey. This facilitates exploration of the Tanoby Ruins, so that trainers can catch all of the Unown, before returning to the main town of Seven Island. A Black Belt trainer, looking over a cliff about halfway through the canyon, tells the player that Bruno of the Elite Four used to train in Sevault Canyon with Brawly, Dewford Town's Gym Leader.
