Barrereef Snails

Manufacturing process

Butter is softened and creamed with the spices and garlic. Mix in shallot or onion, and layer the butter mix with sea snail meat in the shells. The dish is then baked and served in shell.

History

The recipe originates from Australia, though was spread across the pacific and quickly was adopted in tourist hotspots as an 'usual' food, becoming extraordinarily popular. It can be found in most seaside restaurants, tourist traps, and tourist destinations today due to its simplicity to make, being particularly popular in the Republic of Shanai, the Republic of California's southern coasts, and in the Mediterranean as a luxury food. Beloved by mortals and dragons alike to test how squeamish their friends are, many areas consider it to be a rite of passage to eat when on vacation.
