Death's Bloom Oil

Manufacturing process

Death's Bloom oil is made by steaming and pressing the death's bloom flower until an oil is produced, which is then strained and separated from the water content of the plant. It is a common additive in food and drink, with no ill effect on the living.

Significance

Death's Bloom oil has a curious effect on the undead, allowing them to eat, drink and feel as though they were alive for a short period of time. It has become a massively important item during the Festival of Death and Shia, the God of Death's holy days, as it is used to make food as offerings to the god and for undead loved ones. As it has no ill effects on the living, some use the oil as a flavoring.
