God of Noise Robeulalie (a.k.a. Robby)

Robeulalie is seldom seen by most people outside of a circle of her friends and family due to the fact that she spends almost all her time underground in her temple. Some would describe her as a bit of a shut-in. Spending most of her time in her temple workshopping music with her band, friends, or family and only appearing during parties or performances. There is a myth that says sometimes her playing of instruments under the ground creates earthquakes. While often quietly working underground she is very talkative and social at parties or public events. She is known to occasionally come crawling out of the ground if someone makes music or an event that is grand enough to catch her attention.
The cicada goddess is mostly focused on making good music and inventing new instruments. She also seems to greatly enjoy parties as well as friends and family. Outside of this, she just wants people(especially mortals) to appreciate and enjoy life. Life is to short to not be doing what it is you truly enjoy in her opinion. She is known to be amused by people with self-confidence and actively encourages people to be confident in themselves.
It is rumored that she got her guitar or musical talent by tricking one or more gods into enhancing her already amazing talent with the power of boons and her amazing guitar. Part of the reason she typically hangs out so deep underground is that she sometimes dabbles in using dangerous magic in order to create never before seen music or magical instruments. Which some believe to be part of the reason her playing can apparently make earthquakes. Along with the fact that apparently her music can just be that loud.
Her name is a combination of Robert Johnson(an african american blues musician and songwriter and "the first ever rock star" who is rumored to have made a deal with the devil) and Eulalie(the daughter of the devil that appears in Jean, the Soldier, and Eulalie, the Devil's Daughter and is speculated to have been for the basis of another daught of the devil that appears in the african american folktale of John the Conqueror). She apparently got the name Robeulalie from the fact that her guitar was cursed and there are many rumors regarding her connection with evil or violent gods.
Physical Description
Her mortal form is that of a demon. She is a somewhat tall woman with dark skin and a pot belly. She has an extra pair of red eyes resembling that of cicada on top of her head in addition to normal eyes were one would expect them to be.
In her divine form she resembles a massive cicada that is about the size of a small car. This form has a mixture of traits from a cicada’s larva form and its adult form. Like her mortal form it has a speaker on its chest. It can tunnel through the ground at supernatural speeds and as it flies it produces powerful sounds that shake the earth and damage almost anything that is too close. This form can also shake the nearby ground to produce earthquakes and can drain all the nutrients from even large trees in moments.
She often has bags under her eyes. She often had them as a mortal because she would stay up late working on music or instruments and overtime people just expected her to have them so they carried over when she became a god.
She has sharp metal teeth.
She has a lot of piercings.
She has a speaker implanted in her shest. This speaker can amplify the beat of her heart and release devastating shockwaves or blasts of sound.
She has a famous guitar that has been cursed. Crafted from the bones of a god and threads crafted from the spider gods Ana and Nancy. Some say these bones come from Umbra, the god of giant squid, or that it was Umbra itself that gifted the instrument to her. Others say it one or more bones of Shia were used to craft it. Some myths say that it was crafted by gathering the flesh of a bunch of people and fusing them into a guitar. Either way, the instrument is extremely useful for casting sound and earth magic in the form of vibrations. It also appears to aid in casting lightning and / or darkness magic. It is also possible to use it in tandem with death magic. The guitar itself is unnaturally sturdy, to the point where it can even be used as a shield. The guitar has sharp points that can allow it to function as an axe or bladed weapon. The weapon itself appears to be alive, and it has an eye that can sometimes be seen looking around. It can be fed blood to temporarily awaken it and allow it to unleash magic. While there are many stories regarding how it was cursed, in actuality it was cursed by a fallen god of monkeys. Any mortal who attempts to play it will have great skill doing so but also have their vitality sapped and slowly gain an unnatural craving for blood that is beyond that of even a vampire. Some can hear the instrument whispering to them when it is nearby.
She has a microphone that can act as a conduit for wind mana and amplify sound beyond that of any mortal tool. It can also allow her to project her voice through any speakers or devices that are within the range of her aura.
She can often be seen wearing a skull-like mask over her mouth. This is meant to muffle / quite her voice since she can only speak while yelling and will sometimes accidentally enhance her voice with magic when excited.
She has a specialized magical bike that can drive fast enough to create sonic booms and leaves claps of thunder behind it as it shakes the ground nearby whenever Robeulalie drives it.
She typically dresses in a manner of heavy metal fashion or punk.
When in public she can often be seen wearing a mask that is meant to muffle her often loud voice.
She is extremely adept at wielding earth and wind mana. Particularly when it comes to using them to shake the earth and vibrate the land in order to create earthquakes and loud noises. She is also capable of projecting her voice over massive distances and enhancing how loud sounds are. It is said that out of all the gods Robeulalie the one that can produce be the loudest sound.
She is very proficient in using earth mana to affect metal.
She is capable of replicating the sound of all kinds of instruments, even electric ones, by using a variety of wind magic.
She is extremely sensitive to vibrations and is capable of predicting when a naturally occurring earthquake will occur because of this. She can also use this to locate the sources of various vibrations.
She is capable of using vibrations to deliver amazing massages and loosen muscles. It can also be used to rattle one’s entire body from the inside out. If done with enough force it can break bones, or even render the target unconscious or damage their brain. She can only do this to targets she is directly touching though.
She is extremely good at digging, and sometimes travels by tunneling underground.
She is surprisingly proficient with lightning magic, mostly in regards to creating thunder.
Mental characteristics
Robeulalie was born somewhere in Japan. She if half Japanese and half black. She made her start as a musician as a teen when she made a heavy metal / rock garage band.
Wanting to take her music to the next level she ended up making a deal with a god to obtain a magic guitar. During the creation of the guitar it was cursed before being given to Robeulalie. She used this instrument along with magic to create all new sorts of music that had never been heard before. She was also one the earliest mortals to start using magic in in tandem with her music and / or performances. She eventually challenged the then god of cicadas to a battle of the bands. With the deal being that if she won she would be made a god. The result of that competition is history.
At some point she met and fell in love with Chevalier, the God of Crickets. They were drawn to each other by their shared love of music. She would then also fall in love with John de Luminarie and helped him out with his quest for the god of bat’s hand in marriage. Forming a polycule with Chevalier, John and herself.
Most people know little of Robeulalie’s history because of the fact that she spends most of her time underground.
She uses both she and it pronouns in equal measure.

Personality Characteristics
She seems to enjoy collecting cursed objects. She also enjoys loud noises and things that are “metal” or epic.
She enjoys spending time underground and also working on her music.
She doesn't like to be interrupted while working on her music.
Most notably, unless you are a close friend or family member it can be very hard for one to get ahold of her while she is underground in her temple practicing her music. She might answer prayers but will rarely do so in person and will often just grant a boon or potentially a sign of some sort. However, it is quite easy to communicate with her when she is at a party or event.
She can also become very hyperfocused on a specific goal or task, especially when it concerns music, and can end up overworking herself or not taking enough breaks until she has solved the problem.
A lot of her music, especially the experimental kind, is known to be extremely loud, which can annoy those nearby. She is also physically incapable of whispering for an unknown reason and may accidentally amplify the volume of her voice with magic when excited in some way. She also has a hard time being subtle or discrete in general.
She is known to vibrate and rumble like an earthquake and/or thunderstorm when she is angry.
She physically cannot whisper and will sometimes accidentally amplify the volume of her voice, especially when feeling strong emotions.
She prefers to stay underground unless she is at an event or with lots of other people.
