Symptoms

Complete blindness, usually temporary, however it can be permanent. Victims of the spell will have the moon reflected in their eyes, for as long as it is active. When used on Omnia and Dragons, Lunar Blindness not only blocks physical sight but seeing other planes, magic, auras, and essences as well, taking away all visual sensory information.

Treatment

Time is the only thing that can heal this spell, with no known cure other than waiting to see if it's effects can be reversed.

Sequela

Often lunar blindness can cause permanent vision problems even long after the spell has dissipated. Blind spots. blurred or double vision, a loss of color sensitivity, or harsh sensitivity to light are incredibly common.

Prevention

Most prevention tactics involve staying out of moonlight or the range of lunar dragons. One can have success in covering their eyes completely, allowing no light to shine through with cloth, metal, or even wooden shields, however caution must be taken to ensure no gaps or the possibility for the spell to reflect off of the material can occur, which could amplify the effect.
