Miran Cookies

Manufacturing process

A dough is formed from the flour, sugar, and eggs, which is then combined with chopped pickled fruits and nuts. The dough is separated into balls, which are rolled in death's bloom flowers and spices, and then baked until hard and crisp. While still hot, the cookies are glazed with honey, and baked again. Serve warm immediately after cooking, or over a cup of hot coffee or tea.

Significance

Miran cookies are a popular breakfast item in Asia, eastern Europe, and in the Land of Gods. Introduced by the Centauri as a popular travel food, they have become a staple in many areas, known for their tart flavor that is served best with sweetened teas and coffees. The cookies, due to being rolled in death's bloom flowers, are a popular offering to Shia, the God of Death. They can be found in almost any café or coffeeshop across Asia.
