Pegasi
Pegasi Centar are a subgrouping of the race most commonly found in North America and originally the result of crossbreeding between Harpies or Angels with Centaurs. They originated not long after the Centaur race itself, having long since developed differing cultural ideals from their ancestors.
Typically, Centauri live in North America, with higher populations in Laramidia and the same holds true for the Pegasi. Pegasi are quite uncommon in other areas of the world, with only small populations in eastern Europe and Asia, and nearly unheard of in Africa, the Pacific, and Western Europe.
Culture
Major language groups and dialects
Due to their population spread, Pegasi most commonly speak languages heavily associated with North America. English, Navajo, Cherokee, Spanish, and French are all quite commonly spoken languages. Not used for every day speaking, Latin is often used for spell use, thought to have originated with the Angelic ancestors of the group.
Ideals
Beauty Ideals
Pegasi share many similar ideals as Centari, and depending on their heritage, many with Angels and Harpies. Pristine, healthy feathers and strong wings are highly valued, but as centaurs are too heavy to fly, they do not hold much value in their size. Being well preened is vital, and most typically favor feathers in more neutral tones such as gray, black, white, brown, and tan.
