Wolf's Delight Pie

Manufacturing process

Various meats from common prey to wolves are ground and seasoned, then stuffed into pie shells with par cooked vegetables and heaps of gravy. The pies are often topped with intricate detail made out of the crust, such as trees, wolves, deer, and rabbits over a lattice shape. These are baked until fully cooked and a beautiful golden brown most often in a stone fire or by being buried in the coals of a fire traditionally, though there is no objection from traditionalists against using a conventional oven. The pies are initially served hot, though by the pack, are often eaten cold after having initially been cooked.

Significance

Wolf's Delight is a common food in Laramidia due to the presence of the Pack of Ferventi and the wolf god's followers. It is said to be a favorite food of the wolf god, due to the choice of meats. Often, it is served on Father's Day and other feast days relating to Ferventi, the wolf god. Occasionally, the meal is served on Mother's Day as well, often being made by fathers and sons in a family as a gift to mothers within the group and symbol of Ferventi's allegiance to Olrath.
