Helmer Shinål Terson
He does not look much like he'd have the strength of a bear like you'd expect a King in Black to have but he was apparently an exceptional fighter and above all, became an exceptional leader."The ground was slick with blood, and the air was filled with the sounds of dying men and giants. Finally, a young Indar warrior named Helmer stepped forward. He was small in stature, but he had a brave heart and a strong arm. He raised his sword and charged at the largest giant on the battlefield, dodging attack after attack with his tail. Helmer was not afraid. He dodged the giant's club and slashed at its leg. The giant roared in pain and fell to its knees. Helmer then plunged his sword into the giant's heart. The other giants were shocked to see their leader fall. They hesitated for a moment, and then Helmer rallied the men to charge. The men fought with renewed vigor, and they soon began to push the giants back."
The tale of Little Helmer Terson is still a popular tale to tell children and adults alike. He earned his nickname Shinål that day, and was later on crowned as the very first King in Black.
