Yatenn

As the evening drew closer, the shopkeeper and their husband finished up their work, patted their palms clean on their aprons, and walked out to join me at the small table outside. Without a word, they turned to the horizon and closed their eyes to listen. As the sun set, a melodic Yatenn yoiking rolled over the landscape from somewhere far away. Me? I'm hopelessly tone deaf, unfortunately.

The Yatenn are a sapient species native to the rainforests of southern Toldero. As the descendants of the Gigas, they are much larger and taller than the other humanoids of the world. Their appearance resembles that of a Dayl with longer limbs or an Indar without a tail.

Architecture

The Yatenn live in or around old Gigas settlements and temples. Recognized by its monoliths and large structures built into rock.
