Not the sketched bow he had made in response to Vowrawn’s joking, but a full bow, knees on the carpet, palms pressed downward, his forehead to the floor in front of him. “Get up, Qet,” said his Lord, and Qet obeyed. There was also a mental summons to step closer, to in front of his Lord’s place; he obeyed this, also. Darth Vowrawn stood from his chair, turning to face Qet fully, and slid a ring over his talon. He took Qet’s hand, palm upwards, and slipped it on to Qet’s finger. It was heavy, set with a magenta crystal – he was not as expert as Darth Vowrawn, but he guessed that it was an adegan crystal. He felt it coil around his finger just as the golden metal it was in did. [...] “You are Second in my Sphere, and henceforth your word is as my own, should you choose to utilise it.”

Employment

“How do you feel about a Dark Council seat, Lord Qet?” They’d had this discussion before, though not as explicitly. Perhaps his Lord was of the impression that as numbers in their Sphere had dwindled, so had the ratio of Qet’s ambitions of quiet influence to ambitions to be a shining, articulated target. “Not while you yet live,” he said. To be fighting off personal assassins would be hells on his capacity of focus on the ones sent to kill Darth Vowrawn.

History

Vowrawn and Qet met on Korriban, when Qet was only 11.  Vowrawn was struck by his stubbornness and determination, and offered him an apprenticeship, which Qet immediately accepted.
“Your name?” he prompted. “Qet, my lord.” Only a family name – no, he was Human, only a personal name. He had no family, then, or had rejected it. Or been rejected, but that seemed a nonsensical thing to do to such a dutiful little mite. “Well, Qet,” he said, “I am Darth Vowrawn, and I have a proposition for you.”
Eventually, Qet became Vowrawn's right-hand in many matters (though not in all), and his primary bodyguard, attending him at almost all times.
“I’m not your heir, I’m your bodyguard. Let me do my job.” Violet smoke started to gather around them, and Qet felt the very beginning of a drain on his energy. Then the smoke cleared, the energy returned, and Darth Vowrawn fell back. “Aah! I can’t..” “Alright,” soothed Qet, taking his hand.
Despite Qet's apparent tactical purpose including self-sacrifice to protect Darth Vowrawn, Vowrawn often places Qet's safety just as highly as his own, and sometimes even above it.  This irritates and concerns Qet, who likewise wants to use all of his power to protect Darth Vowrawn.

Nicknames & Petnames

Woyunoks - from Vowrawn to Qet.  Old Tsis, "Little one".  Originally given when Qet was a child, the name is now somewhat ironic, as Qet is significantly taller and wider than his lord.

Qet is privy to many of Vowrawn's secrets, including ones that would have Vowrawn executed if they were publicly known.
Qet keeps no secrets from Vowrawn.
Qet [was] entirely unperturbed by the intrusion into his mind (he didn't try to shield his thoughts from him, since he would find them anyway - what was the point?).
