Draconic

The Dragon tongue is ancient, each dragon birthed speaking it precisely as their ancestors have. It is an ‘essential’ language and said to have some small influence in many other languages, noticeably those of long dead southern Empires. Draconic runes are far more complex than most other scripts, being logographic and containing thousand of symbols scratched into stone by dragon claws. Besides Dragons, Wizards and other users of magic sometimes study this script, as do those interested in the deep history of ancient empires. The Holy Books of the Temple of White Ash are written in Draconic script, though using another ancient language.
