Goblins

There is much debate as to the origins of Goblinkind.  They are known to propagate in the Misty Islands, as well as other eastern lands, but their merchant's vessels have been seen as far as the Island of Il , and far Southern Lands.  They are, by all accounts, one of the most well-travelled groups in Midgard .     Mortal, Goblins possess many qualities of those who have grown up underground; including exceptional vision in darkness similar to dwarves.  The Dwarves have no time for Goblins, however; viewing them as just deformed, slightly clever humans at best, and as a kind of vermin at worst.  Goblins have a negative reputation for thievery and deception among dwarves, and this has spread somewhat to their human neighbours.   Goblins are good seafarers, some say as good, or even better than Veldfolk .  Their reputations as Merchants is also exceptional.  While many distrust them, they cannot deny that goods from far and exotic lands only sometimes reach places because of Goblins.  It is Goblin merchants that most people are likely to encounter, though there are groups of Goblin Bandits in some eastern parts of the Veld, and those who have travelled to the Misty Islands say there are whole realms of Goblins there.   Goblins stand on average just a few inches shorter than dwarves, but with a much more slender build.  Their skin is generally a green colour, running from a greyish green through various shades of Mint and Forest Green to every the occasional dark Emerald.  Their eyes are typically yellow or light orange, though they sometimes seem red in dim light.  They have thin, sharp teeth like those of a dog or cat, but without pronounced canines.  Thin faces, long pointed noes and ears, sunken eyes are all general qualities of goblin appearance.   Goblins tend to dress in layers that disguise the shape of their bodies and because of this, outsiders sometimes have difficulty identify differences between males and females, though they are instantly apparent if you know what to look for.  Goblin Merchant society appears somewhat egalitarian in a brutally meritocratic sort of way.

Darkvision. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light.  ou cna' tdiscern color in darkness, only shades of gray. Sneaky. You are proficient in the Stealth Skill Nimble Escape. You can take the Disengage or Hide action as a bonus action on each of your turns.
