House of Il

The Royal Family of Il.  The House of Il was founded in a mysterious past.  They claim to be descendent from ancient kings of the Island who were chosen by the Island itself to rule.  How much truth there is to this mythical founding is unclear.
They have since ruled for several hundred years, intermarrying with people from throughout the Islands, including, it is said, the Elves.  Elvish blood is strong within the Royal family, and manifests now and again, making some of them Elf-Blooded .
