Police inspector
Andrew is a Police Inspector in the Netherlands. His specialiety is doing interogations. He's really good in getting people to talk, even when they first don't want to say anything. Andrew can read a police file fast, pick out the necesary information and poke around in peoples brain with words in such a way that they spill out.
Personal life
Andrew is married to Sophie Gibson, their three childeren have left the house, and they are slowely looking forward to retirement. Andrew and Sophie met while they were both visiting an event from the Order of the Bee of which they are both members.
Andrew uses his job as an police inspector to find information about the people the order is interested in, also he sometimes helps smooth things out if people whom are protected by the order come into contact with the law. He never got them out of trouble, if you did wrong you needed to take the punishment was his idea, but he made sure the order knew, aranged a lawyer etc.
First meeting with Rose
His personal believes had to be pushed aside a bit when he found Rose behind his interogation table. Suspected terorism, piracy and a whole list of other things. The police file was just two sheets of paper, not enough for a judge to agree on holding her. They didn't even have her complete name. But Andrew was asked to get her to talk, to find out more. He did find out more, he found a ring on her finger, the long lost heir of the house of Holland. Andrew made the daring decision that could end his police career and land him in jail too. But he choose to get Rose out of there.
In Andrew's living room,
after he helped her escape from jail.“If I stay disappeared, there might be people, former crewmembers of mine, who will start investigate by themselves where I went. They could think the police made me disappear, they could arrive at your name as the last one to speak to me. They aren’t all as nice as I am. Inspector.”
Rose didn’t meant it but her words where ice cold. And she saw the reaction they had on Andrew, his face didn’t show it, but his eyes couldn’t lie, she scared him.
“What exactly is it what you do on that ship, miss?”
“Did. The Sunset Dawn has been blown to smithereens by the Bolivarian Navy of Venezuela. I was her Captain.”
