Sorcerers in this world, regardless of biological race, are considered monsterkin as their magic is born within them. As such the human adjacent originally began doing testing on them to figure out how they had maintained their magic when most magic disappeared from the world. So some Sorcerers, have turned to despise the human adjacent while some sorcerer families began to help them study as they didn't understand where their magic came from either.
