Attributes

Choose from one of the following arrays:

1. 16, 15, 14, 11, 08, 07
2. 15, 14, 13, 11, 10, 08
3. 14, 14, 14, 11, 11, 08

GM's Note: I would suggest taking the second array personally - most Kaminoha are dependent on two or three physical attributes and one mental attribute. While one can certainly create one that only requires two attributes, such characters will have severe weaknesses at all stages of play.

Race

You are a Human, but may select one of the following options.

Standard Human

You are of no notable stock, one of millions of Japanese who populate your divided island nation. But to live and prosper in such a period makes you lucky or resourceful.

Ability Score Increase

Two different ability scores of your choice increase by 1.

Skills

You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.

Feat

You gain one feat of your choice.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Trade Tongue and one extra Dialect of your choice.

Age

Humans reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century.

Size

Humans vary significantly in height and build - from barely 4'6" to nearly 5'8". Your size is Medium.

Offshoot Human

Something about your upbringing or bloodline is abnormal. Perhaps you were born to a clan blessed by a particular god or you were conditioned at birth to receive a particular trait.

Ability Score Increase

One ability score of your choice increases by 2, and another increases by 1.

Variable Trait

You gain two of the following options of your choice:

• Flame Kissed - You have resistance to Fire damage and may ignore the deleterious effects of mundane hot or arid environments. You have advantage on any saving throws against a magical, but similar environment's effects.
• Keen Gaze - You gain Darkvision with a range of 120 feet. You ignore the effects of magical darkness.
• Leaping Gait - Your movement speed increases by 5 feet, and your vertical and horizontal jump distance are doubled. You may calculate your maximum jumping distance with Dexterity instead of Strength if it is higher.
• Manual Digitation - You have advantage on any Dexterity ability check to escape a binding, grapple, or spell and may add your ability modifier to damage made with an off-hand weapon attack.
• Mountainborn - You have resistance to Cold damage and may ignore the deleterious effects of mundane frigid environments as well as those of extreme altitudes. You have advantage on any saving throws against a magical, but similar environment's effects.
• Powerful Build - You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and push/pull/lift. Your height is between 6 and 8 feet tall.
• Poxen - You are immune to disease, both magical and mundane, but suffer a significant physical malady due to several diseases born early in your life. This physical affliction does not affect you mechanically, but cannot be hidden easily be clothing.
• Rest Broken - You only need 2 hours of sleep to function properly each night, but still must only spend 6 hours of light activity to complete a long rest. This allows for an effective 4 additional hours or downtime each day.
• Toxin Born - You have advantage on saving throws against poison, and you have resistance against poison damage.
• Spirit Blessed - You have resistance to Radiant damage and heal 1 additional hit point when you spend a hit die to recover hit points.
