Zartri Valley

Zartri Valley is a hidden valley inhabited by Zartriites and Zartrizoas, founded by Hugh Larsson in the Bronze Age to protect them from humans.
The east end of the valley, where the most trees grow, is occupied mainly by dryads. Jötnar and harpies tend to live higher in the mountains. The centre of the valley is inhabited mainly by other Zartriites who don't blend in easily with humans--particularly gorgons, monopods, dulshee and cyclops. There is a large siren community as well, as young sirens still learning to control their voices are in particular need of contact with their own species.
