Ysenlau
The Ysenlau are a historical human ethnicity and a modern ethnolinguistic supergroup. Ysenlau were recognized as having tanned skin and dark hair. Modern ethnicities recognized as being descended from the Ysenlau include the Ysen, and modern ethnicities recognized as being partially descended from the Ysenlau include the Tekumese and all Yuktali ethnicities. Their name comes from "old Ysen" in Hitonese.
Ysenlau moved from Nimana to modern day Ysen Tei and stayed there, but when included as ancestors of the Yuktali, their reach spread all the way from Ysen Tei, to modern Lurean, to northwestern Tuatha. The Ysenlau created the First Ysen Empire during the Age of Arrival, one of the largest nations of that period. After its fall, the Ysenlau ethnicity split from their Yuktali brethren, and became recognized as the Ysen soon after.
