House di Vallentinia

Formerly the most prominent of all the families of the republic. This family was said to be wealthier than the Gods. It all came crashing down in 1811 when their scheme to eliminate the government's debt led to disaster. Murder is one thing, but messing with the finances of the merchant princes is quite another. Most of the family fled overseas in the aftermath. They still posses lands and assets in the Republic, but administer them through proxies.

Vallentinia seeks to return to the Republic and reclaim their glory. They have been unfairly treated by all the other houses, and they will have justice for their house.

History

They are an old house. They reached the pinnacle of their power in 1810 when they held the title of Doge and the North Sea Company was believed to be the solution to every problem the republic faced. The company failed due to the actions of House di Floranna . In the aftermath the members of house Vallentinia fled Apex to escape repercussions.
