The Battle which broke The Ordering's aura of invincibility upon the stony shores of the Crimson Coast.

The Ordering sent a fleet under the their most trusted admiral to crush the Dead Sea Collective fleet gathering in the bay then known as Taha bay. Unbeknownst to them this was a ruse by the Dead Sea Collective. The Ordering Fleet, heavily laden with men, animals, and weapons was trapped in the bay by the tide and the weather, then ambushed by Dead Sea Collective forces from the land and sea. The Dead Sea Collective had among them navigators using new Apex science to determine weather and tides which gave them a decisive advantage over their enemies. Tens of thousands of Ordering soldiers, sailors and civilians died. The aura of invincibility which the Ordering military forces had until then enjoyed was broken. Soon the various parts of the empire were in open revolt.   The Battle saw hundreds of ships destroyed. Their wrecks were crushed against the coast, which became known as the Driftwood Coast in the years after the battle. The Dead Sea Collective erected a grand monument on the battle site, to commemorate the victory.
