General Summary

While he was gone, Eldrin found out about a powerful evil presence that is responsible for the soul-stealing effects in the rift. It’s a being of negative energy. It has three faces, only one of which can be fought at a time. It’s ancient beyond reckoning. It isn’t sentient in the way most people are. It has siphoned the powers and strengths of many adventurers, but it can’t necessarily use those without using the aspects of those adventurers. It is neither alive nor dead. The greatest weapon against it is also that which it seeks most: Strong souls and life force. It attacks through negative energy and life-draining.
