Personal history

Degdairaire was one of a clutch of seven offspring of a mad shadow dragon who lived in the Shadowfell and served the Old Ones. The dragon had long been "harvesting" her own children to create monsters known as wraith drakes, and Degdairaire's clutch was just the latest in line. In late September of 23 ARL, however, only days before Degdairaire would hatch, a party of adventurers led by Ruby assaulted Nightwyrm Fortress and slew the evil dragon, splitting the unhatched eggs as treasure. Degdairaire's egg came into the care of the paladin Altruenth Dragolth.
