Gugaji
Wise Gugaji
A giant intelligent snake living beneath Barashtra, the sunken capital city of Indus. He is wise and old, predating the fall of Indus and the sinking of his home.
Gugaji has aided the survival of the ratfolk population in the tunnels, but also feeds on them. The balance of generosity and self-interest in his aid is unknown; one way or another, carnivores have to eat!

Personal history
When the Shadows of Existence visited the tunnels beneath Barashtra in the summer of 23 ARL, Gugaji gave them information about the asura who had claimed and desecrated the city. He chose to remain in his underground tunnels when the adventurers returned home.
