A knight from the kingdom of Kalgrid on the world of Egain. He is notable for having discovered a set of horseshoes of momentum that let his horse accelerate linearly without end rather than maxing out at its gallop speed. This is rather distressing for the horse, but Sigurd and the horse have a good bond and the poor warhorse is very brave, so they manage.
Sigurd and his horse transported Terana DelGarrod to the capital of Kalgrid shortly before the New Hallownest-Yellow Formian War so she could get the materials required for a portal from Kalgrid to New Hallownest.
