Vanilla
Mental characteristics
Vanilla was raised and trained by, and subsequently served in, the Alabaster Tower, an organization and a physical edifice on the continent of Concordia. The organization made/groomed powerful psionics into an elite force who served as agents, diplomats, guardians, bodyguards and assassins.
The Tower was betrayed by one of its leaders, an individual called Baide the Prophet. Baide sold Vanilla and her sister(s) into more direct slavery. An evil archmage bought Vanilla and was using her as a bodyguard/defensive item via an artifact slave collar and extending chain when an adventuring party containing Eldrin Stormseeker encountered her. Eldrin used some magic artifact shenanigans to remove the chain from the archmage in an effort to free Vanilla... only to have it attach to him instead.
After much awkwardness and some time and adventure, the chain and collar were broken. Vanilla was freed but remained very close with Eldrin thanks to the time they'd spent mentally connected.
Some time later Eldrin got lost in the Star Wars universe. Vanilla responded by bullying physics and their representatives into sending her after him. Their aim was off; she arrived thousands of years too early. Determined to find him again no matter how long it took, Vanilla established herself as a Sith Lord, formed a secret organization of light side Sith and had them hunt down Eldrin through the centuries, while she waited in stasis for him to appear.
There were some misunderstandings when her minions did finally find him; the Sith trained by one of her holocrons misinterpreted her orders and tried to kill Eldrin, succeeding at least in badly beating him. But it all worked out.

Towards Eldrin Stormseeker
History
When salvation came for Vanilla, after years of abuse and pain that saw her a magically bound slave in the early days of the post-Renegade Legion era, it came in the form of an odd but powerful wizard guided by an increasingly desperate god of love. The god had already failed twice to get Eldrin Stormseeker a partner, a nearly unprecedented occurence, and this time he was pulling out all the stops. As Eldrin tore through Vanilla's magical chains and found a mental mindlink chain latching from her mind onto him, the first thoughts Vanilla heard from him can be summarized as follows: "Oh gods, she's connected to me, the poor woman! I know I wouldn't want to be stuck to me, I've gotta help her." Needless to say, given her awful recent past, Vanilla found the genuine feelings behind those ideas nothing but a joyful relief.
In the time since Vanilla was freed, the chain (inflicted by a combination of divine intervention and magical shenanigans) that was forcing them together has been successfully broken, but their bond has only ever grown stronger. Vanilla has trained Eldrin in his burgeoning psychic powers and the two of them are still in each other's head at all times, always making sure the other knows they're alright. While they are not married in the traditional sense, neither believes they can live without the other; Vanilla can and has crossed space and time and universal boundaries to rescue Eldrin, bullying powerful beings into helping when necessary, and there is no doubt that Eldrin would do the same for her without hesitation.
