Imp

Imps are among the lowest of the lesser devils, they are natives to Hell but can be summoned /sent to other planes with arcane spells or rituals.

In dunia, Imps are often found as familiars to mortal spellcasters who are in pacts with greater devils.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Great variation exists between individuals, but generally Imps are tiny hummanoids figure with reddish skin, small horn proturding from the skull, leathery bat-like wings and a long tail with a poison stinger.

Many accounts credit imps with the ability to shapechange into small animal shapes such as a rat, bat, or spider.

Behaviour

There is great variation among indivduals, but generally Imps are in reluctant service to a greater devil. They are used to run errands, deliver messages, spy upon other devils by the greater devils. Imps delight and pride in the evil nature of their masters but have a perverse nature which, usually, prevents them from acting with any kind of alacrity or efficiency in their assigned tasks.

Imps who are familiars, have shown unusual loyalty to their mortal masters and can be dangerous if the master is threatened.
