The Dark Elves : Melnibonéans

In the confused tales before History, all agree that from a group of small islands in the Ahlen Ocean, the islands of Melniboné wizards emerged, who led legions which conqured the world. The Dark Elf survivors of the The war of the Elves had settled on these islands and regained their strength.

The Dark Elves were not numerous, but once they had conquered a territory, they used it to breed more soldiers. The Dark Elves used profane rituals to create Tieflings, Half-orcs and Dragonborn races to serve in their armies.

The Dark Elves were unmatched in Wizardry and Sorcery. They rode dragons into battle, had airships and controlled legions of Half-orc and Dragonborn soldiers. They used time travel to aid their conquests, which is why tales of the time before History are confused. They conquered the world, and then started on the realms beyond. Until one day, every Dark Elf disappeared and no one knows why.
