Heavenpiercer Spire
An awesomely tall tower in the farthest reaches of Sea Halvista. Whoever built it is unknown, as the architecture is unlike any of known cultures. Its purpose remains unknown as well, but one of the most commonly accepted theories of the past is something akin to the real-world story of the Tower of Babel. One flaw in this reasoning is that the tower lacks any openings, and appears to be solid. Researchers were unable to find any way in, and were baffled why something of this undertaking would be placed in the middle of nowhere, so, as many things are, it was simply attributed to the gods, who were often above mortal understanding. Heavenpiercer is considered one of the 19 wonders of the world.
As noted by a prestigious professor located in Westkeep, the tower shared many qualities with the Pillars of Ascendance. Firstly, they reside in the same ocean. Secondly, they are immense in size. Third, their otherworldly architecture hints at divine origin. Fourth, their purposes are still unknown. The Pillars' purpose was only based on a secondhand account from centuries prior, and as of now, they seem to be inert.
Discovery
Heavenpiercer Spire was discovered in 290 BC by an unknown elven sailor. His only legacy is the name he bestowed on the tower: Heavenpiercer.Architecture
The tower is made of smooth glittering white stone of unknown origin. This stone also seems immune to the effects of weathering, as it is constantly beaten by the crashing waves of Halvista.
