Sten

The father of Lysia, Sten was a somewhat reclusive farmer who had a reputation for being a mean drunk. He was not a particularly successful farmer but managed to maintain a few unproductive corn and root vegetable plots. In the winter months he proved to be a decent trapper and hunters, selling excess game to the inn and pelts to passing traders. The villagers were not overly fond of Sten, as he didn't follow any particular religious persuasion and would frequently cause impolite scenes late at night. Therefore, they are excluded from most village functions.
After Lysia's death, he became more ruthless and abusive until the point that his late daughter came to haunt him during the Dead Feast. He gradually grew frail and more withdrawn. His body was found in the river one late autumn morning less than a year after the events of the Temple of Elemental Evil - no one truly knows if it was the alcohol that caused his fate or if the rumors of a malignant spirit could truly be responsible.
