Welcome to Rhodinia

Your character starts their journey in the lands surrounding Redstone Bay , a frontier expanse with bustling settlements, expansive forests, towering mountains and sweeping red cliffs which give the bay it's name. Sat on the edge of the known world, this area of the continent is far from the warring countries and their influence. Since humans (the dominant race) first arrived, the peoples of the bay have lived amicably, if not peaceful with each other, with the large bridge city of Saltbridge awash with different species, ethnicities and religions. Redstone Bay is the final destination for intrepid explorers, outcasts, criminals and all those who are chasing their future, or running from their past...

All of that is starting to change however, as the waring countries to the south turn their gaze towards the bay and it's rich natural resources. Fear and intolerance are spreading like wilfire, the flames fanned by local rulers seeking power and wealth. Lawlessness is on the rise as the stable power structure of the region is upturned. Most worryingly, old tensions and new rivalries are bubbling to the surface. Minority communities are increasingly the target of extrajudicial detainment and violence and magic users, who are rare in the 'civilized' parts of the world, are beginning to disappear. Times are changing in Redstone Bay...the question is, how will they affect you?
