Rhune

What is Rhune?

  Rhune is the name of the planet on which two campaigns (so far) are made to be played on. The first campaign is called Assembly of Grim. It takes place on the island country of Grim and follows a group of adventurers fighting to stop three warlocks from resurrecting/summoning their respective patrons. Assembly of Grim takes place starting at 232 AC. The second campaign is called The Final Bastion. It takes place on Bastion, the largest and most prominent continent on Rhune, and follows an unlikely team of adventurers as they prepare for the second coming of Tiamat. The Final Bastion takes place starting at 760 AC.  

What Makes Rhune Different?

    One of the most significant pieces of Rhune's history is the existence of Primordials. All monsters have an origin in the form of one ancient (primordial) being. All dragons come from the primordial dragon, all snakes from the primordial serpent, etc. Some primordial are very weak while others have come to be accepted as minor deities. Some are still roaming Rhune while others have escaped (or been banished) to other planes. Additionally, Rhune has undergone one major extinction event. A star crashed into Bastion, scarring it with a colossal crater. 90% of all life on Rhune faded in this event, separating history into BC (Before Collision) and AC (After Collision).   Furthermore, the calendar year is comprised of 5 months, 5 weeks each, 5 days each. So, a year starts on 1/1 but ends on 25/5. Dates are read (Day/Month). Also, there are 30 hours in a day (20 daytime, 10 nighttime), which makes the years about the same amount of time as real years.   Note: Assembly of Grim is a completed campaign and the events of it can be found here. The Final Bastion is the title for a current campaign, all details regarding this campaign will be published upon completion.
