Barbadon, God of War

Barbadon is the deity of fair play. His dogma was primarily concerned with honorable battle, forbidding cowardice, and encouraging the use of force of arms to settle disputes. His following can be categorized into two orders: The Order of the Shining Shield, and The Order of the Broken Blade. The Order of the Shining Shield is comprised of clergymen dedicated to taking on Rhune's most dangerous missions. They're the heroes that volunteer to protect the land when nobody else will. They accept all walks of life as long as they're prepared to give their life to the order and its creed. The Order of the Broken Blade honors those warriors and clergy who can no longer fight at their best. They continue to serve Barbadon by working at shrines and temples. While the order sees no problem with dying in the line of duty, a warrior living past their prime is equally impressive thanks to the nature of their missions.
