Elessar

Originally a powerful archfey, Elessar is the progenitor of elvenkind. Once he ascended to godhood, Elessar's only wish was to have a legacy. To this end, Elessar gave parts of himself to create the elves that we know today. He gave his heart to create the ever-caring wood elves, his brain to create the ever-cunning high elves, and his very soul to create the chaotic eladrin. Elessar's essence can be found in every elf alive today, but each generation becomes more and more diluted with mortality.
