James Targyn aka Baolin

Born and abandoned in the town of Ulford, Baolin was found by Valine Syltheth (a high elf) at the age of 3. Valine took the child as his own into the ancient order of the Mad Faith. Growing up and training in the secret sanctuary of Ulford under the wing of Valine. His true nature revealed at the age of 13 Valine started cultivating Baolin's natural abilities along with his poison crafting. Often sending him into town to pose as local figures to work on his deception and blending in. At the age of 18 Baolin was sent on a normal infiltration mission of a local noble with his childhood friend Arttiro, the mission was a complete success but when they returned the sanctuary was razed. All of the order members, including the grandmaster, were killed and left in the courtyard. In utter horror and fear, the now-alone rogues gathered their goods and the secret gold stash of the sanctuary and fled the city. finding their way to the capital city, they managed to steal and use their skills to finally over 4 years establish a small store and loft in the market district. Now shopkeepers, they are known as alchemists and healers to the public, and poisoners and assassins to the right people. Artirro is the only person that knows Baolin's true nature; they protect each other above all else.
