Tabaxi

One of the two races to hail from the Beastlands, tabaxi are a naturally curious cat-like race of wanderers. Instilled in them at birth is an immense desire to see all the world has to offer. This ideology splits tabaxi society into two primary groups: Those who intend to travel across the world and see as much as possible and those who consider their homeland to be their world. The former has a passion for all things exotic, be they stories, artifacts, or world wonders. The latter wants nothing more than to thoroughly explore the land it was born into, be it an island, a country, or a continent.
Regardless of the scope of their inquisitiveness, their innate nature pushes them to leave no secrets undiscovered, no treasures or legends lost. Likely due to their origins in the Beastlands and their connection to Pakhet, God of the Hunt, tabaxi can often be found in dense jungles that other races may not be able to traverse.
Tabaxi are unaccustomed to staying in one place, leading them to have nomadic lifestyles. They make for phenomenal adventurers, treasure hunters, pirates, and monks.
