Tiamat, Goddess of Greed
The eternal rival of Bahamut, God of Justice, Tiamat is a five-headed chromatic dragon. She has a head for each color of chromatic dragons: blue, black, red, green, and white. Even by draconic standards, Tiamat is extraordinarily vain and desirous of treasure. Her hoard matches that of even the richest nations on Rhune. This desire for treasure has made her increasingly lazy over the ages as she started to value guarding her hoard over all else.
She was originally considered to be an archfiend tasked by Asmodeus to guard the gates of Hell, but she inevitably abandoned her post after Asmodeus disappeared. This is what led her to rule over Bastion for many years until she was defeated and temporarily banished by the 5 original Dragonborn kings of Bastion in what would be known as the first of the Dragonborn wars. Each king had forged an orb of dragonkind that granted them protection from one of the queen's five heads during their final showdown.
One day, Tiamat is destined to return in an attempt to retake Bastion. Signs of the apocalypse will herald her arrival.
