The Flight of the Fang, wielding the orbs of dragonkind and backed by the united people of what would come to be known as Bastion, defeats and temporarily banishes Tiamat. Legend has it that the signs of the apocalypse will herald her return.

The Flight of the Fang goes on to establish the five countries that make up Bastion. When they eventually died, they were buried in elaborate tombs along with their armor, weapon(s), and their orb of dragonkind. For more information, see A Brief History of Bastion.
