Phorondron Resort

Located in the North West of Rhye, the Phorondron Resort is an independantly owned hotel establishment offering luxury holidays and the spectacle of the might ogre battles which take place in the valleys of the Dragon Mountains. It was established in the year 20, and is one of the oldest busisnesses that wasn't originally created by King Mercury's creation.   The resort is a masterpiece of the architecture of Sir Righcious Phlame, the revered achitect who designed King Mercury's palace. The outside is a remarkable examble of his layered collumning approach to tiers, giving both a sence of scale, but also a peaceful rise, rather than an imposive tower. Many of the rooms have original Phlame mosaics, including several phaises that have been recreated in great buildings across the kingdom.

The Ogre Battles

The Ogre Battles were one of the earliest creations of King Mercury, consisting of a race of large, muscular humanoid monsters arranged into cultural clans and a drive to defend and steal one another territories. The scale of the beasts and the valleys they fight for provides a breathtaking spectacle to any who view it, and the nocalties of each clan allowed spectators to develop affinities for different clans which adds a level of competitivness to the audience. Novelty clothing mimicing the clans cultural clothing is a popular purchase from gift shops, which are typically worn to the battles themselves.
