Prince Aurelia
Aurelia, the Prince of Winter, rules the western most land in Rhye, as well as the expansive icesheets that extend across the ocean.
Residing in December's Underground, Aurelia connects with her people by reading their letters. Residents of both December's Underground and Overground write to her once a month, and she welcomes letters from others in her court too.
Her appearance is described as like she has grown into a tree. It is said that she spent too long resting in the petrified forest, and began to take on aspects of the mineralised trees herself.
In the first few years of her stay in the forest, she was alone, spending her time with the mineralised trees until she took on aspects of their appearance. She later moved to December's Underground after its creation, wher she was given the title of Prince of Winter following the coronation of King Havok.

Aurelia was the first elf to take up residence in the Petrified forest.
