Smiley
Smiley is a large slender creature, someone what reminiscent of a dog, a ferret, and a cat, covered in white fur. He has a wide mouth, filled with sharp teeth, most often kept closed in a creepy smile, hence his name. He was found by the guild upon the Night Train, accompanying a small elf called the Coward. The Coward owned a small purple gemstone, which bound Smiley to her as a protector and comforter.
After meeting the guild folk upon the night train and hearing their reassurance, the Coward gifted them Smiley's control crystal, which was brough back to the guild for use on further missions. Smiley will follow and protect whoever holds the crystal. Between missions he is free to be interacted with.
Smiley is similar to a construct or a homunculus - a synthetic lifeform infused with life for a specific purpose, in this case, protection and comfort. He was created in Rhye by the elves native to that city, and thus is filled with Rhye magic.
He is gifted with two powerful attacks, a repeated claw attack, and a poisonous bite. He does not speak, and only moves to follow the holder of the crystal, or to follow their orders.
