Warwarion Steppe

A dry and rugged land, the plateau of the Warwarion steppe looks over the Blightmark to the East and the Abbason Swamp to the North.   Homeland of the Oroc == from Nullarbor Plain: desert climate; semi-arid conditions; most rain in spring & fall; summers very dry, mainly from sporadic storms; decaying tropical storms cause heavier rain in the summer months;   significant Karst formations (caves? extensive meteorite deposits (adamantine!?) many meteorites discovered, some several tonnes in weight   Flora: low saltbush, bluebush, scrub Fauna: vermin, scorpion, spider, underground rivers, caves, lakes (Arrakis inspiration? Desert Sietch? grasslands suitable for sheep, rabbits == Oroc tribes of the north, herd antelope & sheep Oroc tribes of the south (more arid), underground caverns, cisterns   == You stand in a hilly terrain scattered with prickly trees and foul-smelling wildflowers. You can see a marsh to the west. The temperature is very warm and the sky is clear.   == You stand in a hilly region strewn with trees, shrubs, and grass. You can see a small body of water not too far away and a city to the west. The temperature is warm and the sky is mostly clear.   == This dry savannah covers 3,940 miles, and the grassy plains are devoid of almost all trees. The dry season lasts for 9 months and the wet season brings consistent rainfall.   It is home to a few different species of animals, including lots of different medium sized birds living in flocks of over 20,000 individuals.   This savannah is notable for its wildlife.   Deep within the savannah, rare herbs can be found.   There is a desert to the North, farmland to the South, a jungle to the East, and a tundra to the West.
